For those planning a parental property purchase arrangement, our start-up package focuses on a specific property.
To initiate the process, we require the following information from you:
- The sales particulars for the specific property you are considering purchasing
- Your preliminary thoughts regarding the rent level, including whether your son/daughter is to reside alone or share the property with others
- Your preferences regarding financing, including self-financing, type of mortgage loan, and any additional financing
- Your expectations regarding the scope of renovations, improvements, or similar activities
Based on this information, we will provide:
- A budget covering the start-up year, a standard full-year projection, and a 10-year projection (or other time horizon upon request), illustrating the liquidity impact.
- A written memorandum reviewing your options, including our assessment of the appropriate rental level, and highlighting other tax and tenancy law considerations you should be aware of.
- If desired, a review conducted via telephone or online meeting.
Our fee for the parental property purchase start-up package is DKK 4,400 including VAT. This fee is tax-deductible if you purchase the apartment and commence leasing.
If you subsequently change your mind and wish us to include a new property, or if you from the outset request us to prepare calculations for multiple properties, an additional fee of DKK 2,000 incl. VAT per property will apply. Each property will receive our full attention until you finalize the purchase of the right one.
